Engineered Concepts was started in November 1991 by Robert G. Kennerly, Jr., P.E. and Jeffrey D. Little as a service company with the intent to provide its clients with a range of engineering services needed by Architects, Engineers, Contractors, and Owners. Less than a year after opening for business, EC hired its first employee in order to meet the overwhelming increasing demand for its quality engineering services. Since 1991, Engineered Concepts has grown at a controlled and managed rate to its current staff size that includes eight people. Engineered Concepts started its business as a structural engineering firm. In order to meet the demands of its clients, EC has expanded its engineering practice to include services in the forensic and investigative evaluations of structures and building envelopes.
