1. Education/Administration Addition – Clemmons Presbyterian Church, Clemmons, NC:

Project included a 5100 square foot education/office addition to the existing church. Engineered Concepts was the structural engineering consultant for the Project Architects. The project construction was completed in 1993.

2. Entrance Modifications – Hopeview Presbyterian Church, Greensboro, NC:

Project included the construction of a 100 square foot entrance vestibule and handicapped access ramp on front of the existing sanctuary building. Engineered Concepts was the prime designer for the project. The project was completed in 1992.

3. Classroom/Office Addition – First Christian Church, Greensboro, NC:

Project included the construction of a 5000 square foot, 3-story education addition to the existing church. Engineered Concepts was the structural engineering consultant for the Project Architects. The project construction was completed in 1994.

4. Classroom/Worship Center – Spanish Mission Church, Kernersville, NC:

Project included the construction of a 4700 square foot worship center building. Engineered Concepts was the structural engineering consultant for the Project Architects. The project construction was completed in 1994.

5. Renovations – Peace Haven Baptist Church, Winston-Salem, NC:

Project included interior renovations to the existing church building. Engineered Concepts was the structural engineering consultant for the Project Architects. The project construction was completed in 1994.

6. Family Life Center Building – Boone United Methodist Church, Boone, NC:

Project consisted of a 12,800 square foot family life center building that was to be the first phase of construction of this church on a new site. The building contained multi-purpose space, a kitchen to serve 600 persons, meeting rooms, classrooms, and storage areas. The construction drawings were completed, and the project was bid, however, the church never raised the money to construct the building and the project was cancelled in 1995.

7. Renovations – Main Street Baptist Church, Kernersville, NC:

Project included a major renovation/repair to the existing sanctuary building, and also a connector addition. Engineered Concepts was the structural engineering consultant for the Project Architects. The project construction was completed in 1996.

8. Brick Masonry Repairs – Saint Benedicts Catholic Church, Greensboro, NC:

Project included a major repair to the brick masonry bell towers on the front of the existing church. Engineered Concepts was the prime designer for the project. Construction of the repairs was completed in 1994.

9. Quaker Gap Baptist Church, King, NC:

Project included an addition to the existing sanctuary building and other renovations. Engineered Concepts was the structural engineering consultant for the Project Architects. The project construction was completed in 1996.

10. Fellowship Hall/Sanctuary Building – Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Winston-Salem, NC:

Project included an 11,450 square foot fellowship hall/classroom/sanctuary building. Engineered Concepts was the structural engineering consultant for the Project Architects. The project construction was completed in 1997.

11. Additions/Alterations – Parkway United Church of Christ, Winston-Salem, NC:

Project included a new 2,050 square foot sanctuary addition, and also 950 square foot renovation to the existing classroom building. Engineered Concepts was the structural engineering consultant for the Project Architects. The project construction was completed in 1996.

12. Glue-Laminated Wood Arch Repairs – Philadelphia Lutheran Church, Dallas, NC:

Project included an investigation and major repairs to two damaged wood arches inside the existing sanctuary building. Engineered Concepts was the prime designer for the project. The project construction was completed in 1997.

13. Community Lutheran Church, Summerfield, NC:

Project included a new sanctuary/classroom building on a new site. Engineered Concepts was the structural engineering consultant for the Project Architects. The project construction was completed in 1997.

14. Fellowship Hall Addition – Beck’s Lutheran Church, Lexington, NC:

Project included a new fellowship hall addition to the existing church. Engineered Concepts was the structural engineering consultant for the Project Architects. The project construction was completed in 1997.

15. Elevator Addition/Interior Renovations – Highland Presbyterian Church, Winston-Salem, NC:

Project included an elevator addition and interior renovations to the existing church building. Engineered Concepts was the structural engineering consultant for the Project Architects. The project construction was completed in 1997.

16. Tidewater United Church of Christ, Virginia Beach, VA:

Project included a new worship and day care center for the church on a new site. Engineered Concepts was the structural engineering consultant for the Project Architects. The project construction was completed in 2000.

17. Education Building – Oak Ridge United Methodist Church, Oak Ridge, NC:

Project includes a 16,052 square foot education building addition at the existing church complex. Engineered Concepts was the structural engineering consultant for the Project Architects. The project construction was completed in 2000.

18. Multi-Purpose Building – First Baptist Church, Garner, NC:

Project includes a 14,200 square foot building that includes a gymnasium/auditorium, classrooms, and kitchen at the existing church complex. Engineered Concepts was the structural engineering consultant for the Project Architects. The project construction was completed in 2000.

19. Sanctuary Addition – Unity United Methodist Church, Thomasville, NC:

Project includes a 6,640 square foot sanctuary addition to an existing church building. Engineered Concepts was the structural consultant for the Project Architects. The project is to be bid for construction late summer 2001.

20. Sanctuary/Classroom Building Addition – Ardmore Baptist Church, Winston-Salem, NC:

Project includes a 12,700 square foot 800-seat sanctuary, a 22,800 square foot classrooms and support area, and 1,300 square foot bell tower. Engineered Concepts is the structural consultant for the Project Architects. The project is to be bid in the fall of 2001.
