1. Restoration of Vineland Station Depot Building - Whiteville, NC
Project included a condition assessment in conjunction with major renovations to the existing train depot building in Whiteville, North Carolina. Project has been bid and is about to start construction.
2. Rehabilitation to Passenger Depot Building - Hamlet, NC
Project included a complete condition assessment of the existing passenger train depot building located in Hamlet, North Carolina. The work later progressed into the complete rehabilitation of the depot building which included relocating the two-story building across the railroad tracks to a completely new location. The project is currently under construction.
3. Restoration of Cape Fear Depot Building - Fayetteville, NC
Project included a condition assessment in conjunction with major renovations to the existing train depot building in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Project has been bid and is about to start construction.
4. Rehabilitation of Herbst House - Old Salem Community - Winston-Salem, NC
Project included the rehabilitation and restoration of the old Herbst House located in historic Old Salem. The existing house was moved approximately 15-feet closer to the road, and was renovated to include a candle shop and meeting areas. The project was completed in 2002.
5. Restoration of Opera House Building - Hamlet, NC
Project included a condition assessment in conjunction with major planned renovations to the existing theater building located in Hamlet, North Carolina. The old theater building is to be renovated into a performing center for opera. Project is currently in the schematic design phase.
6. Renovations to Alumni Hall Building - Oak Ridge Military Academy - Oak Ridge, NC
Project included major interior renovations to the media resource center in the Alumni Hall Building. Project was completed in 1995.
7. Galen Stone Hall Building Restoration - Charlotte Hawkins Brown Historic Site - Sedalia, NC
Project included a condition assessment in conjunction with the proposed restoration to the existing Galen Stone Hall building at the historic Charlotte Hawkins Brown School in Sedalia, North Carolina. Project has been completed through schematic design.
8. Restoration of Old Washington Mills - Mayodan, NC
Project includes a condition assessment in conjunction with proposed renovations to the old Washington Mills facility located in Mayodan, North Carolina. The old mill building is to be restored and renovated into a multi-use facility that includes residential, commercial, and museums. The project has been completed through an initial condition assessment.
9. Condition Assessment of Johnston Hall Building - Elon University - Elon, NC
Project included the condition assessment of the Johnston Hall building located on the campus of Elon University in Elon, North Carolina. A detailed report was issued to the University outlining the findings of the condition assessment.
10. Condition Survey & Evaluation – Main Hall Building - Greensboro College - Greensboro, NC
Project included a condition assessment and evaluation of the Main Hall Building located on the campus of Greensboro College. The assessment included the evaluation of the building structure as well as the condition of the brick masonry. The project was completed in 1998.
11. Pool Building Roof Repairs - Salem Academy & College - Winston-Salem, NC
Project included the evaluation of conditions of high moisture and humidity within the roof structure on the pool building at Salem Academy & College. It was determined that the pool building roof contained an inadequate amount of insulation within the roof system and also lacked a proper vapor barrier. Following the evaluation, repairs were initiated to correct the inadequacies. Project was completed in 2000.
12. Recreational Field Light Poles - Salem Academy & College - Winston-Salem, NC
Project included the analysis and design of foundations for 70-foot tall light poles that are to be placed on the new Salem Recreational Fields at Salem Academy & College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The recreational fields are located on top of an old land fill making the design of the light pole foundations difficult. The project is currently under review by Salem Academy & College.
