1. Theater Renovations – Triad Stage, Inc. - Greensboro, North CarolinaThe project consisted of the renovation of an old five-story building in downtown Greensboro into a performing theater. The renovations included removing and reconstructing the existing first floor, removal of three of the existing building columns between the first and third floors, and various other interior renovations. Engineered Concepts was the structural engineer of record, and worked as consultants on the design team for the Project Architects. Our work included the design of the structure for the renovations. Construction on the project was completed in 2001. The estimated project cost was $5,000,000.00 2. Memorial Hall Renovations - University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, North CarolinaThe project consisted of the renovation of an existing auditorium building on the campus of UNC-Chapel Hill. The renovations included removal and reconstruction of the stage enclosure on the rear of the building, along with the construction of new support facilities on each side of the existing building. Engineered Concepts was the structural engineer of record, and worked as consultants on the design team for the Project Architects. Our work included the design of the structure for the renovations and the new construction. Construction on the project is scheduled to begin in fall 2002. The estimated project cost is $12,000,000.00. 3. Auditorium Addition - West Forsyth High School - Clemmons, North CarolinaThe project consisted of a new auditorium on the campus of West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, North Carolina. The auditorium included the seating and stage areas, as well as support rooms.
